Villa Grove senior Carly Eads was selected to receive a $2,000 academic scholarship on behalf of the Joe and Sue Summerville Agricultural scholarship. This scholarship is offered in memory of Sue’s mother and father, Lois and Myron Riddle, of Tuscola, Illinois.
Eads has been admitted to Lakeland College for the Fall 2025 semester. She is the daughter of Christopher and Heather Eads of Villa Grove. After completing two years at Lakeland College, she plans to transfer to Illinois State University to pursue a degree in crop and soil science.
