Peoples Bank & Trust named Sharon Daily as their “Volunteer of the Quarter” for her volunteer work with the Arthur Woman’s Club.
Sharon has been an active member of the Arthur Woman’s Club for many years, most recently serving as the organization’s President. She is also heavily involved in her church, Arthur United Methodist Church.
The Arthur Woman’s Club is a service organization that has been in existence in Arthur, IL since 1935. Throughout the organization’s existence, they have hosted many events to support the community including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Labor Day Rat Race and Halloween Festival. They have also supported the community through ALAH Senior Scholarships, Meals on Wheels, the Arthur Backpack Fund, the ALAH Food Pack Fund and the Annual Santa Breakfast.
In honor of Sharon’s services, Peoples Bank & Trust is making a $250 donation to the Arthur Woman’s Club and her name will be added to a plaque displayed at the bank recognizing past volunteers.
