Bement Homecoming to be celebrated on October 17

Homecoming will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2025, with “Casino Royale” as the theme.

The following students have been selected as this year’s Homecoming court: Ella Corum, daughter of Angie and Chad Corum of Bement, escorted by Gunnar Auth, son of Sarah Bales of Bement and Dan Auth of Champaign; Sierra Fay, daughter of Julie Fay of Bement and Cory Fay of Bement, escorted by Quinn Flach, son of Ashley and Jeffrey Flach of Bement; Ariel Ponce, daughter of Janet Ponce and Emilio Rodriguez of Bement, escorted by Will Fuson son of Holly and Paul Fuson of Bement; Addison Roberts, daughter of Samantha and Jackie Roberts of Bement, escorted by Avont Jackson, son of Marissa Caban of Lake in the Hills and grandson of Georgina Longoria of Bement.

Kindergarten attendants are: Everly Thorman daughter of Misty Thorman and Jeremy Thorman of Bement and Harrison Price son of Elizabeth and Dane Price of Bement.

The annual Homecoming Parade will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 17 with Grand Marshal Kelly Rogers leading the parade. The parade route will begin at the school and continue north on Piatt Street, west on Bodman Street, south on Rt. 105, and east on William Street back to the school.

The 2025 Bement High School Homecoming Coronation will take place on October 18 at 8:00 P.M. in the Walsh Gymnasium.

Michelle Gross and Bridget Rund will be inducted into the 2025 Bement High School Hall of Fame.

Bement High School juniors, Cassie Block and Makenna Kindred will be the emcees for the coronation.

There will be a picture-taking opportunity for the public immediately following the coronation. The dance will begin at approximately 8:30 P.M. and end at 10:30 P.M.
