Tuscola, IL — Everyone is invited to an evening of music, storytelling, and purpose at “Songs & Stories with David Zach,” lead singer of the internationally known band Remedy Drive, on Sunday, May 3, at 6 p.m. at First Christian Church of Tuscola (100 E. Church St., Tuscola).
During this event, David Zach will perform music and share stories from his work with Daylight United, an organization dedicated to combating human trafficking around the world.
The evening will also raise awareness and support for Eden’s Glory, a Greenville–based nonprofit that provides a two-year residential restoration program for women who have survived human trafficking, as well as trauma-focused therapy for minors through its Foster Kairos program.
“Events like this help communities understand the realities of human trafficking while also providing a tangible way to support survivors on their journey toward healing and restoration,” said Annie Shomaker, Co-Founder of Eden’s Glory.
Through music and storytelling, attendees will gain insight into the global fight against trafficking while learning how local organizations like Eden’s Glory are making a difference right here in Illinois. All proceeds from the event will support Eden’s Glory’s mission to fortify survivors, educate communities, and work to end human trafficking.
The event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend, invite friends, and come ready to support the life-changing work of restoration for survivors.
