Shriners Children’s to Host Free Screening Clinic in Arthur on June 6

Families in the area will have an opportunity to receive free pediatric orthopedic screenings during a Shriners Children’s Screening Clinic scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Arthur Fire Department, 323 W. Columbia St., Arthur.

The clinic is designed to assess children for a variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions. Screening clinic staff from Shriners Children’s St. Louis will evaluate conditions including scoliosis and spine conditions, clubfoot, hip conditions, limb deformities, limb length differences, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Myelodysplasia, Arthrogryposis, webbed fingers or toes, rickets, specialized plastic surgery needs, and sports injuries.

Appointments are encouraged, though walk-ins will also be welcomed during the clinic hours.

The event is sponsored by the Tri-County Shrine Club and aims to help connect children and families with specialized medical care and resources.
