Wits Fitness classes will resume in August following a summer break in July. Join University of Illinois educator Cheri Burcham each month for engaging, hands-on activities that help boost cognitive function and memory. This fun, informative class is perfect for keeping everyone’s mind sharp.
Classes are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. The August schedule is as follows:
LifeSpan Center — Aug. 3, 10 a.m.
Shelby County Senior Center — Aug. 3, 1 p.m.
Eberhardt Village, Arthur — Aug. 17, 3 p.m.
Mid-Illinois Senior Services, Sullivan — Aug. 24, 1 p.m.
Life Center, Toledo — Aug. 28, 10 a.m.
Wits Fitness classes are normally held at the following times and locations:
First Monday of the month:
• LifeSpan Center, 10-11:30 a.m.
• Shelby County Senior Center, 1-2:30 p.m.
Third Monday of the month:
• Eberhardt Village, Arthur, 3-4:30 p.m.
Fourth Monday of the month:
• Mid-Illinois Senior Services (Sullivan Senior Center), 1-2:30 p.m.
Fourth Friday of the month:
• Life Center, Toledo, 10-11:30 a.m.
There will be no classes held in July or December.
