Atwood Mourns Passing of Village President Bill Fleming

The American flag at the Atwood Village Hall & Atwood Police Department hangs at half-staff in recognition of the sudden death of Atwood Village President Bill Fleming. Bill passed away on Thursday morning, June 18 at Simon Cancer Center, Indianapolis, IN.

A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Atwood, 211 North Illinois St., Box 797, Atwood on Saturday, June 27, from 2-5 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m.at the church. Burial will follow at the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Atwood.
