The Douglas County Board allocated nearly $102,000 of motor fuel tax funds to pay for the resurfacing of a portion of County Highway 11 at Wednesday’s meeting.
The portion of the road that was resurfaced and patched ran from the Douglas-Moultrie County line at County Road 200 N to about four miles eastward. The work was completed earlier this year.
The County Board also approved other financial obligations and fees for county offices unanimously. The Board also approved 108 election judges for the upcoming midterms, 86 Republican judges and 22 Democrat judges, an increase compared to the past few election cycles. The Board will send the list of judges to the Circuit Clerk for final approval.
